S P E C T R U M N I A

Having turned 30 last spring got me thinking on my life: who was I and what was I doing with my life. And most importantly, were those things something that I really wanted or had I just ended up somewhere doing something. I found myself happy with who I was as a person and my view on life. I wasn’t perfect of course since you never are, but I saw myself walking a right path for me. My professional life however was not something I could be completely satisfied with. After years of studying and working I found myself in a job that, even being something I enjoyed doing, wasn’t really me.

I don’t even know where the idea came from or how I ended up even thinking about it, but I started to toy with an idea about being an artist. I have been drawing and painting most of my life but I have never thought of it as being something I could really do. I hadn’t ever seen it even as a hobby. It was just something I did, something I was. Somehow the thought of a life as an artist started to feel more and more possible. And finally the idea had turned from maybe into definitely. I saw myself as an artist and there was no going back from there.

So here I am. This is me walking my path.
